Éireann Lorsung (she/her) holds an MFA in poetry with a graduate minor in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota and a Certificate in Art & Ecology from the National College of Art & Design, Ireland. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at University College Dublin (Ireland). Her collections The Century, Her book, and Music for Landing Planes By were published by Milkweed Editions (US); Pattern-book is forthcoming in May 2025 from Carcanet Press (UK).

Join us for a collaborative concrete poetry and low-fi printmaking workshop in MCBA’s studios, drawing on the history of concrete poetry, the work of screenprinter and text-combiner Corita Kent, and Walt Whitman's insistence that a just society is poetry's embodiment.
