Marbling Focus: Bouquet Patterns

Step into the world of bouquet comb artistry with this immersive, in-person workshop!

You'll dive deep into iconic patterns like the Fleur de Lis, Scallop, Faux Bouquet, Reverse Bouquet, and the show-stopping Peacock (also known as 'the Scream'). By the end, you’ll have perfected these stunning techniques and gained the confidence to wield the bouquet comb with flair and precision. Unleash your creativity and make every bouquet a masterpiece!

Sulphite and French paper will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring additional papers they would like to use and are encouraged to continue practicing marbling independently at MCBA's Marbling Labs after this workshop.

Level: Intermediate. Introduction to Marbling or other introductory marbling experience is required to register for this workshop.
Certificate: 6 hours, Category B or D

$147/participant (10% discount for MCBA members) + $25 materials fee

$74 for BIPOC/Financial scholarship participants (10% discount for MCBA members) + $25 materials fee

MCBA offers two scholarship types for workshops—Financial Hardship Scholarships and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Scholarships—to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom these scholarships do not apply, register at the Adult rate and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make scholarships available.
