And Out Come the Wood Chucks Zine by Kris K
“In this zine I wrote about some cool wildlife sightings I've seen out in nature. Included topics are: groundhogs, birds, foxes, deer, turtles, frogs, and rodents. This zine is in the perzine genre because it's about my personal experience and I share a little bit about my life in it. I hope to inspire others to spend more time in nature and find wonder and awe!
I used paper, stickers, scissors, & glue to make this zine. And my imagination!” -Kris K

Kris K (they/them) creates original analog collage artwork on the unceded lands of the Lenapehoking in Northeastern PA under the name artsnfartsnkris. Meticulously hand-cutting & pasting images sourced from periodicals and junk mail, Kris creates a colorful new story to inspire. Their work employs surrealist images, often incorporating celestial bodies and the natural world, as well as vintage pieces, creepy cut-up faces, and overall weirdness. Using just their personal experiences and paper ephemera, Kris hopes to showcase how accessible materials can be used for storytelling.
