Melissa Wagner-Lawler (she/her) is an artist and Teaching Faculty in the Printmaking & Book Arts department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received her BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and MFA in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. For over a decade, Wagner-Lawler’s practice has been dedicated to artist books and exploring the intricacies of the format. Her artist books use letterpress and other printmaking techniques to investigate elements of tension, the breakdown of information and the fragility of circumstance. To date, she has produced 15 editioned book works, all of which are housed within collections around the country.

Shop Information

Hours
The Shop at MCBA is open Tuesday–Saturday 10am-5pm; Thursday 10am-7pm; Sunday 11am-3pm.

Shipping and Returns
Orders are shipped via USPS every Friday by 12pm and will arrive within 5–8 business days after processing time. Please note that all consignment work is non-refundable and retail returns are accepted within 10 days of sale. If you have any questions regarding your order, please email theshop@mnbookarts.org.

In Store Pickup
Items are available for free in-store pickup during Shop hours. When placing your order, choose “Pickup” as your order option. Please add your name and choose a planned pickup day when prompted.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be applied toward in-store purchases, as well as workshops, studio rentals, and memberships. We are currently unable to apply gift certificates to online shop purchases. Please contact theshop@mnbookarts.org if you have any questions about gift certificates.
