Satan Cares About You Zine by Luke Mars

$10.00

Luke Mars’ debut chapbook explores Satanism, Christianity, and queer identity. It follows the author’s complicated relationship with religion, from evangelism to devil worship; atheism to apathy. These deeply personal and visceral poems explore conservative Christian homophobia, depression and delusion, and queer liberation. With anti-gay and anti-trans sentiment rising in many religious communities, sometimes it’s safer to make our own spaces." - Luke Mars

Luke Mars (he/it) is a queer cartoonist and book artist working out of Minneapolis, MN. His work focuses on a range of topics from Satanism to environmentalism to trash television. Motivated by the feminist belief that the personal is political, Mars’ work explores how the little, mundane things around us reflect bigger, more universal issues. His work combines mediums including printmaking, poetry, and comic arts to create work that is sentimental and observation-based. When not working, Luke enjoys going to punk shows, watching pro wrestling, and attending local zine fests.
