Melanie Mowinski (she/her) is an artist and professor in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, teaching at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). She holds an MFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an MAR from Yale University. Her unique letterpress and book art, under PRESS • 29 PRESS, are in collections worldwide. In 2011, Melanie founded PRESS: Letterpress as a Public Art Project in North Adams, MA, which later moved to the MCLA campus and continues as PRESS on the MOVE! She completed The 50 Card Project in 2017, creating weekly letterpress cards inspired by civic engagement. Her book, "Collage Your Life," was published in June 2022.
