Chasity Porter (she/her) is a Texas multi-disciplinary Artist with a concentration in collage, assemblage, and zines. She has a BFA from University of Houston- Clear Lake. She is the owner of Dormalou Project, an art studio and former mobile art gallery located in Missouri City, Texas. Chasity is also co-founder of Scissors of Texas, a Houston based collage group, and co-founder of Make & Take Tx, an art collective that creates access through the arts for Houstonians across communities through art festivals, artist led workshops, curation, and project management. Her work is inspired by everyday life experiences, nostalgia, and the absurd, often using objects and animals as metaphors for real life and people.
